CURRICULUM
Much of biochemistry deals with the structures, functions and interactions of biological macromolecules, such as proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates and lipids, which provide the structure of cells and perform many of the functions associated with life. The chemistry of the cell also depends on the reactions of smaller molecules and ions.
This Biochemistry and Lab course contains the following lessons:

Lesson 4 – Nucleic Acids, DNA Replication and Transcription and Translation

Lesson 6 – Citric Acid Cycle, Electron Transport Pathway, Oxidative Phosphorylation and Photosynthesis
Lesson 7 – Cell Communication: Hormones and Transmitters, What is Cancer, Illicit and Pharmaceutical Drugs
